STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Cultivating Indigenous Re-Connection to Ancestral Practices.

Through this purpose there is reconnection, and through this reconnection there is healing. With this healing we bring into the communities we live a body of indigenous people doing our best to live by the principals of our ancestors. We look after our community the best we can. We take care of our elders and those who cannot fully care for themselves. We care for the overall well being of all people. As an Indigenous driven organization we honor the belief that it is our personal responsibility to restore and maintain balance in the world.

OUR RE-INDIGENIZATION PROGRAM IS THE HEART OF WHO WE ARE.

A goal for this program is to support the cultural, economic, and intellectual restoration and development of communities and their leaders by empowering Indigenous descendants with the tools to get connected to their people, develop and re-claim traditional skills such as carving, basket weaving, and learning the ceremonies and principals of their ancestors.

-THE WORK WE HAVE DONE IN THE PAST-

WE TRULY CHERISH THE WORK WE HAVE DONE SINCE OUR FOUNDING IN 2020. WE HAVE WORKED HARD IN SEARCH OF WHERE WE FIT IN THE WORLD AS A NONPROFIT AND WHERE WE CAN BE THE MOST HELPFUL. AS OF JANUARY 2024 WE WILL BE FOCUSING OUR ENTIRE EFFORTS ON THE CONCEPT WE WERE ORIGINALLY FOUNDED ON, WHICH IS RE-INDIGENIZATION. HELPING HOW WE CAN TO RE-CONNECT NATIVE PEOPLE TO OUR ANCESTRAL PRACTICES. THIS IS THE WORK WE KEEP GETTING CALLED TO DO. WE APPRECIATE ALL OF THE SUPPORT SO FAR IN OUR EFFORTS TO GROW AND KNOW THAT IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT ONE DAY WE WILL RETURN TO HELP IN THESE WAYS AGAIN.

-WORK IN TRIBAL COMMUNITIES-

We have had the opportunity to do several construction projects to help our most vulnerable people. Most notably being elders or others who don’t have the physical ability or financial backing to pay for needed repairs.

MUTUAL AID

We have had the opportunity to RAISE MONEY AND DELIVER SUPPLIES TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN NEED.

-HOUSELESS OUTREACH-

WE DID SOME GREAT WORK WITH A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE. WE RAISED FUNDS FO BASIC SUPPLIES, BOUGHT A GARBAGE TRUCK TO OFFER TRASH SERVICES, RAN SHOWER TRUCKS, FIXED UP AND GAVE AWAY SEVERAL DONATED RV’S, OFFERED BASIC COMPASSION TO OUR MOST VULNERABLE POPULATIONS, AND MUCH MUCH MORE. WE ARE TRULY THANKFUL TO HAVE BEEN APART OF THESE EFFORTS.

THIS PROJECT GAVE GREAT INSIGHT AND INTRODUCTION INTO THE WORLD OF TRIBAL FOOD SOVEREIGNTY. WE LEARNED MANY SKILLS AND WERE AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO MANY BISON GIVEAWAYS TO ELDERS AND OTHERS IN NEED.
