EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jonny is a citizen of the Yurok Nation. Jonny’s grandfather moved away from his homelands, and Jonny has worked hard to make it back home. He takes daily strides to reconnect and help others do the same. Jonny is currently learning to carve traditional canoes along with other wood work and making of traditional pieces. He is making the effort to learn as much as he can surrounding his ancestors and their practices.

BOARD MEMBER

Tyler is a descendent of the Tlingit people of Alaska. Tyler was adopted as a child by a Native person who was from a neighboring tribe. Although he grew up around Native culture he is only just recently connecting to the culture of his own people. Tyler has recently connected with his biological family for the first time. Tyler spends his free time rock climbing, hiking, and running. He currently works as an ER Technician and is in nursing school.

BOARD MEMBER

Justin is a citizen of the Yurok Nation. Justin currently works within his tribal community. He works hard to be a healthy contributor to ceremonies and the community as a whole. Justin spends his time learning as much as he can surrounding culture and the wisdom of the old people. Justins grandfather moved away from his homelands, but Justin has since made his way back home in a good way.

BOARD MEMBER

Pinky is a descendent of Wasco and Tlingit people. Pinky has spent he life working for her people. She is a retired business owner and cattle rancher. Pinky currently sits on the board of several non profits that focus on getting resources to her people. Pinky is an active Elder for her people.
